The Heide Gobbin project is the story of a social worker and female police officer during Weimar and National Socialist regimes. Who was Heide Gobbin? The progressive Women's Rights Activist whose community included fellow LGBTQ social workers and who worked for the rights of prostitutes, the 'steadfast officer' or the Femme Fatale who turned in her lover, infamous war criminal Arthur Nebe?

This story explores the contradictions of the author's family namesake as they intersect with the impossible contradictions of surviving a fascist regime.
